Fundraiser a Success

Feeding the People's first house party/fundraiser on August 27th was a huge success! We raised $5oo and generated a lot of interest in our organization. We plan to launch a test run of our operations over the next 2 months. We are selecting 6 volunteers to receive seven meals a week for 5 weeks. This will allow us to gather preliminary data and prepare for our pilot launch.

We are now a 501(c)3

We are excited to announce that we received our IRS determination letter today designating Feeding the People as a 501(c)3 public charity.

Eagerly Awaiting 501(c)3 Determination

We are eagerly awaiting our 501(c)3 determination letter from the IRS so that we can begin to Feed the People! Our fact sheet is complete and our website is online at www.feedingthepeople.org.

Welcome

Welcome to the Feeding the People blog. We are now incorporated and have submitted our application to the IRS for 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. We are excited about being able to pursue our mission of providing in-home nutrition-related care for under-served diabetics.
